ALBERTON, South Africa - Oct. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- CEO Andrew Topper said that the board of directors of East Rand Listings (PTY) LTD was very pleased to annouce that Simon Smith will assume the role of Chairman of the board with effect from 1st October 2014 for a period of 3 years. Smith who has served on the board for 5 years and has 12 years experience in the real estate industry said that he looked forward to working very closely with Andrew and the rest of the board. Smith who is also a business owner within the Harcourts real estate group said that this was a really exciting time for East Rand Listings and the real estate industry as a whole. Through prudent managment East Rand Listings was guided through the challenging years from 2009 to 2013 and is now poised to move onto greater things. Plans are now afoot to see the company grow it's core business but at the same time diversify into some exciting new fields.
