Benefit Concert Featuring Ft. Delaware Cornet Band

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. - Oct. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- The Ft. Delaware Cornet Band is an authentic Civil War Era Brass Band portraying an artillery band from Fort Delaware, playing brass music from the Civil War era. The group plays on authentic period instruments as well as performing in period reproduction Union uniforms of the Civil War.

The Band is made up of music educators and musicians with both an extensive history in the Civil War reenacting community as well as in musical excellence.

The concert will be held at the Middletown Arts Center; tickets are $25 per person; limited seating. Tickets are available the Arts Center (36 Church Street), Poricy Park (345 Oak Hill Road); and at the door if available. Proceeds from the concert to benefit Poricy Park Conservancy and Middletown Arts Center, 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Photos available upon request.
