PODS® of Tucson to support local youth in 'Pack the PODS Container' drive

TUCSON, Ariz. - Oct. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- For the second year in a row, PODS of Tucson (http://www.pods.com/tucson-storage.aspx), a leader in the moving and storage industry, will help collect donated sports equipment for the 'Pack the PODS Container' to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Tucson.  A PODS container will serve as a collection point at Jim Click Hyundai and Mazda from Saturday, Oct. 4, through Saturday, Nov. 8.

The services that PODS of Tucson is providing will help save the Boys and Girls Club of Tucson thousands of dollars in moving and storage logistics costs. Donations collected will benefit the club's programs by giving youth more opportunities to engage in activities.

“Collecting these donations will help ensure that our youth will participate in after-school activities,” said Hector Reyes, general manager for PODS of Tucson. “We are happy to provide our moving and storage services so that Tucson's youth are given every available opportunity for future success and become well developed members of society.”

The public is encouraged to drop off gently used sporting equipment into the safe and secure PODS containers during the following dates and times:

Oct. 4-18: 10 a.m.- noon,700 W. Auto Mall Dr., Tucson, AZ 85705
Oct. 25-Nov. 8: 10 a.m. – noon.: 1301 S. Wilmot Rd., Tucson, AZ 85705
