Oct. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- The sales of the Barton & Guestier (B&G) wines in the U.S. are strongly up compared to last year as we enter into the 4th and final quarter of 2014.

Earlier this year, Barton & Guestier launched an exciting new national advertising campaign in the US.  The series of ads published in the Wine Enthusiast and Wine Spectator showcases B&G’s uniquely American history of wine trading and winemaking with US consumers & industry members.

Established in 1725, Barton & Guestier is the oldest wine merchant from Bordeaux still active today and was the first wine merchant to bring its wines to the US in the 18th century.  Building on the historic friendship between Thomas Jefferson and the Barton family, along with their mutual passion for wine, this award winning brand uses an illustration of Thomas Jefferson to depict the long tradition of their Franco-American partnership.  They demonstrate only the best should be expected of their products by selecting quality wines among renowned French appellations.

The new tagline, “A Singular Pursuit of Excellence”, is designed to elevate the image of the B&G wines, and reinforce to the public B&G’s quest for crafting great bottles of wine and cultivating amazing experiences through food & wine pairing and sharing.
