FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Bobbie Asad is excited to announce the release of her first children’s book “Tucker’s Story.” This is Asad’s second book, following the release of “Mad Hatter Tea Society.” The book is available today on Amazon and will be on the shelves at Mad Hatter by October 31st.

“I wanted to craft an inspirational children’s book that featured a lovable family friendly protagonist – a dog. The book is about the dog’s struggle to success and finding a home after experiencing abandonment. The story teaches children that you can turn a negative situation into a positive one. It also reminds children that pets also deserve love and affection from their owners. By focusing the book on instilling positive values in children, we can create a more loving world for both humans and animals,” Bobbie Asad, author.

The children’s story is about Tucker, a handsome German Shepherd mix breed dog who has the perfect home until he finds himself homeless. The story is about Tucker’s transition from homelessness to becoming the logo for a business.

“While the story is predominantly fiction, there is some truth to the story. Tucker does exist. His original owners dropped him off to an undisclosed area. Eventually, a rescue crew found him and saved his life. Tucker visits the Dog Trotters camp once a week where he has a chance to play with other dogs. He was eventually represented as Dog Trotter’s official logo making him a success at the day camp. The real story has a bit of a sad start but ends quite happily for Tucker. His story serves as inspiration that it doesn’t matter how things start off you can always turn things around,” Asad.

Adopting a pet from your local animal shelter can give an animal a second chance with a better home. Pet owners who shower their furry friends with love and care set an example for society as people fight against animal abuse. Those who are considering adding a pet to their family members are recommended to adopt one through a shelter instead of a breeder. Animals like Tucker are just looking to find a family who will love and care for them.

To purchase the book, please visit your local bookstore or Amazon.com starting today. You can also visit Asad’s website at http://madhatternc-com.webs.com/.
