“Comics as an Art Form” Art Show Benefits ArtWorks’ Mission to Help Heal Children Through Art

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. - Oct. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- BAYONNE, NJ: The local group, Comic Book Fans United (CBFU), is hosting an art exhibit emphasizing the significance of comics as an art form. Close on the heels of one of the biggest gatherings for comic book appreciation in the country, New York Comic Con, the show highlights talented artists including: Stan Sakai, Chrissie Zullo, Steven Defendini, Lauren Clemente, Loarina Gonzalez, Eli Ramos, Lisa Schwictenberg, and many more.

The opening reception will be held at Manifest Comics and Cards at 762 Broadway, 2^nd Floor, Bayonne, NJ 07002 on October 16^th at 7:00pm. The artwork on display will be auctioned to benefit ArtWorks, The Naomi Cohain Foundation which delivers arts programming to children battling chronic and life-threatening illness.
