Attorney David Edwards Joins Academy of VA Pension Planners

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Oct. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- David Edwards, founder of Edwards Group LLC, an estate planning and elder law firm in Springfield, Illinois, has joined the Academy of VA Pension Planners (AVAPP). Membership in the Academy is open to licensed attorneys who are practicing in the area of Elder Law and are interested in legal issues pertaining to VA benefits.

Established in 2009, the Academy of VA Pension Planners was created to assist Veterans and their families in locating accredited attorneys and financial advisors that have the necessary advanced training and experience to help Veterans or their widows qualify for the VA Pension – an income benefit Veterans and their spouses can receive to offset the high cost of health care. Members of AVAPP are attorneys who are experienced and trained in working with the VA. The mission of the Academy of VA Pension Planners is to provide Veterans and their families, with qualified attorneys and advisors that can provide them with the best possible awareness, education, and resources available to competently and successfully navigate the VA Pension Benefits System and secure benefits that the families have earned through service to their country.
