The Riddle of the Exporter™ Now Offered in Puerto Rico

MIRAMAR, Puerto Rico - Oct. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- For the first time, The Riddle of the Exporter™ will be offered in Puerto Rico through the Puerto Rico Small Business Technology and Development Centers.   Elyse Eriksson, creator and author of The Riddle of the Exporter™ Training and Workbook, presented an introduction and program kick-off to Puerto Rican entrepreneurs and bankers. Six Puerto Rico SBTDC advisors have been certified as Riddle of the Exporter™ Trainers and will offer the seminars and instruction throughout the island.

The Puerto Rico SBTDC is a Technology Accredited Member of America’s Small Business Development Centers.  The SBDCs provide assistance to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs throughout the United States and its territories. SBDCs are hosted by leading universities and state economic development agencies and funded in part through a partnership with SBA. In Puerto Rico, Universidad Inter-Americana de Puerto Rico partners with the SBTDC. The Puerto Rico SBTDC offers free counseling and low cost training to small business.  Carmen Marti, Executive Director, a certified Riddle of the Exporter™ Trainer feels that this course and workbook will help solve the dilemma of exporting and encourages small businesses to attend the seminars to learn this easy to understand 8-step process.

Ms. Eriksson, a lifelong entrepreneur with a background in concrete manufacturing  has served as the Director of Training at the International Trade Center SBDC in Dallas, Texas.  She has obtained the designation of CGBP-a Certified Global Business Professional. According to Ms. Eriksson, “With this easy to understand process presented from an entrepreneurial view, any small business can learn to export.  It is only through exporting that businesses can create sustainable, recession proof growth.”
