Travis Sheridan & Dougan Sherwood to Welcome Guests to Venture Café & CIC@4240 for STL Startup Event

ST. LOUIS - Oct. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- It’s not often that a venue gets about as much buzz as the events it hosts, but that has certainly been the case for CIC@4240 and Blayzer’s November 5^th Start Up Your Startup event. The free seminar and networking reception is scheduled from 4-8 PM at the Venture Café inside CIC@4240, St. Louis’s newest co-working and tech startup space.

“We’re very excited to be hosting our event at the Venture Café. It’s a really great space – not just visually, but also in terms of what it stands for. Helping to welcome the audience into the space and kick off the evening’s program will be Travis Sheridan, executive director of the Venture Café Foundation, and Dougan Sherwood, CIC@4240’s co-founder and managing director.

“Having Travis and Dougan start things off by addressing all the activity happening right now with startups in St. Louis is really going to set the tone of the event,” said Goldenberg. “As much as we want people to take away ideas and tools and strategies they can put into practice for their business, we also want them to leave feeling energized and motivated by what’s going on around them.”

Start Up Your Startup is a no-cost seminar and networking event that will shed new light on tools and tactics startups, SMBs and entrepreneurs can use to transform their bright ideas into successful business strategies.
