Tindale Oliver Awarded State Road 7 Corridor Study

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Oct. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Tindale Oliver announced today that it has been selected to conduct the State Road 7 Corridor Study for the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization. The study will look at the 20-mile stretch of US 441/SR 7 from the Broward/Dade County line to Sample Road to identify short and longer-term strategies to reduce congestion and improve multimodal mobility and safety.

Broward County Transit Routes 18, 19, and 441 Breeze carry 20,000+ riders per day, making the State Road 7 corridor the county’s busiest transit corridor and a rare example in Florida in which at least 10 percent of all travel along the corridor is by bus. Accordingly, a key focus of the study will be improving safe and convenient access to transit and identifying infrastructure solutions to improve the efficiency of transit in the corridor.

Sub-consultants on this project include HNTB, Whitehouse Group, Dickey Consulting Services, Chen-Moore and Associates, CTS, and AirSage.
