Fayad Law, P.C. Celebrates 10 Years as a Firm

Oct. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- The past ten years have brought great success for Fayad Law, P.C., as well as many opportunities to grow and learn as a firm. Founder and President Nash Fayad and his team are passionate about serving the immigration needs of the Virginia community and have nothing but confidence for the years to come.

When asked what it means for him to practice immigration law, Attorney Fayad said, “Being an immigration lawyer at Fayad Law helps me be the human being inside. Every time I go to work, I do things that make a difference in the lives of others, perfect myself as a professional, and do things that I love the most, like being a vocal voice in the society for immigrants’ rights. Since the firm was established in 2004, it has seen significant growth, with the opening of offices in Richmond and Fairfax, Virginia, Washington, DC, and Raleigh, North Carolina. Attorney Fayad desires to open even more offices in the future to help the firm serve even more clients. “As the firm grows,” says Attorney Fayad, “it gets closer to fulfilling my dream of having an organization that is able to grow based on its goals and philosophy, not based on specific founders.”

The clients that the firm has successfully represented over the years inspire the attorneys to continue working hard on cases involving immigrants from around the world. Attorney Fayad recalled two cases that he was particularly proud of, which involved improving the futures of an African woman and two brothers from Mexico. In both of these cases, the clients were able to remain in the United States with their families, and still live in the country today.

In the first case, Attorney Fayad represented an African woman who was detained by ICE with a final removal order. After going through many lawyers, her husband finally came to Fayad Law, P.C. Attorney Fayad went to the jail, talked to the woman, and discovered that she was afraid to go home because of the threat of Female Genital Mutilation. Attorney Fayad took that to the immigration judge, successfully reopened the woman’s case, and won her a credible fear claim in front of the judge, which allowed her to remain in the U.S.

In the second case, Attorney Fayad represented two brothers who were arrested by ICE and immediately deported back to Mexico. Attorney Fayad took their case and discovered that the brothers had a business immigration case pending. He went to the immigration judge, who ordered that the brothers be brought back from Mexico. After a year, Attorney Fayad’s efforts successfully returned the brothers to the U.S. with green cards, and they are now living in the U.S. permanently.

The overarching goal of Fayad Law, P.C. has always been to serve clients in a way that shows them that their unique needs matter. This attentive and caring representation is something that clients love and appreciate about Attorney Fayad’s practice, which is why he continually strives to maintain this exceptional level of service. The polarized society results in many differing opinions about immigration reform, but Attorney Fayad has aggressively advocated for immigrants’ rights while navigating this uncertainty throughout the years.

In the next ten years, the firm aspires to build a practice in new areas of law that will complement their current legal areas, and to increase the number of attorneys on their staff. Fayad Law, P.C. also hopes to add on more partners and to continue perfecting the structure of the firm, allowing Attorney Fayad to be the first retired partner.
