La Femme International Film Festival Thanks 2014 Sponsors

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Oct. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- LA Femme International Film Festival thanks our key sponsors for supporting the 2014 season. “We are always very pleased to have SAG-AFTRA National Women’s Committee and (WGAW) Writers Guild America West Women’s Committee aboard as both guilds have paved the way in providing independent filmmakers real options to make films using their members,” said Leslie LaPage, Founder. The Florida Office of Film and Entertainment (http://www.flgov.com/film/ ) has been a leader in providing state funding for film and media Producers filming in the state of Florida. They have been a long time sponsor of the festival supporting indie filmmakers and hosted the “Finance and Distribution” panel with Susan Sims, Los Angeles Liaison. The UPS Store, Beverly Hills sponsored the “MasqueRave” Opening Gala on October 16th to a packed house of attendees. Hosted spirits and food for both opening and closing night galas were provided by Devotion Vodka (organic gluten free flavored vodka http://www.devotionvodka.com/), Frances Ford Coppola Winery (Directors Edition, Diamond Collection Wines https://www.francisfordcoppolawinery.com/visit), and Mark Us Bold Catering.  Dollhouse Makeup (http://www.dollhousehairandmakeupdesign.com/) which provided stunning red carpet make-up and hair for our award nominees.  Columbia College joined us this year as a sponsor hosting our “How To Launch Your Career With Your Short Film” panel, WGA hosted the “Women Running The Show on Prime Time TV” panel, and  SAG-AFTRA hosted our  “Women and New Media: How to get noticed through unconventional ways” panel. We would like to additionally, thank The Epsom Salt Council who have sponsored the festival for several years.

ShortsHD (http://us.shorts.tv/) profiled LA Femme and our short filmmakers this year in their popular show FESTIVAL ROAD TRIP: LA FEMME FILM FESTIVAL premiering in March 2015. The show will highlight LA Femme and our short filmmakers following them through the weekend to the Awards Ceremony for the 10^th Annual LA Femme International Film Festival.
