The Mayor and City Council from the City of Las Vegas present a proclamation to EMG

The annual EMG Veteran's Awards (formerly Veteran's Appreciation Awards) is the most prestigious awards ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada that honors US military veterans for their services in the armed forces and community. Past recipients include 'Female Veteran of the Year' Senator Patricia Spearman, 'Male Veteran of the Year' Tim Bedwell from the North Las Vegas Police Department, 'Veteran Advocate of the Year' Judge William "Bill" Kephart from the Las Vegas Justice Veterans Court, 'Veteran Publication of the Year' Veterans Reporter Newspaper, 'Veteran-Owned Business of the Year' Customistic, 'Veteran Organization of the Year' NV Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America and more.
