Embossing is a roll forming process that corrugates a series of ridges onto a metal sheet. In addition to decorative purposes, embossed patterns also increase the strength-to-weight ratio of the metal sheet.

The Metform embossing line consists of main components: entry coil car, uncoiler, automatic edge guide, crop shear, embosser, recoiler and exit coil car. In addition, Metform offers a number of optional components that will result in the desired patterns and engraving depth.
