The Famous Feastival Returns With A Festive Flavour

By:

PERTH, Scotland - Oct. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- The Famous Feastival, a ‘feastival for the senses’ celebrating whisky, food and music, is to return to The Famous Grouse Experience on Saturday 6th December, this time garnished with a distinctive Festive flavouring.

Launched earlier this year in celebration of Whisky Month, the inaugural event included a private lunch hosted by Masterchef judge and BBC Saturday Kitchen favourite, Tom Kitchin.

This time round the team behind The Famous Feastival have shaken up the contents and developed a refreshing twist on this celebration of whisky, food and music. The Festive Feastival in December will see guests enjoy festive whisky cocktail making masterclasses, an opportunity to sample the delicious Strathearn Pie with a winter carvery fit for a future King, and a lip-smackingly good Afternoon Tea for those who may prefer a lighter option.

Accompanied by live Scottish music, tours of Scotland’s oldest working distillery and an opportunity to stock up on some unique Christmas gifts in their Famous Shop, and Feastival guests are in for a festive treat.

Lesley Williamson, Business Development Manager of The Famous Grouse Experience, commented:

“The Glenturret Distillery is the perfect setting for The Famous Feastival and we’re looking forward to our second event in what we are intending will become a series of events that really celebrate Scottish whisky, food and music as we move forward into the Year of Scotland Food & Drink. This is the perfect opportunity to learn how to create the perfect toast, as well as be the first in line to taste The Strathearn Pie, a dish that was created exclusively for the visit of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge earlier this year.”
