The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley Brings Beloved Children's Character to Life

(West Palm Beach, FL - October 21, 2014) Palm Beach, Fla. (October 21, 2014)-The adventures of Flat Stanley have delighted families since the publishing of his first book in 1964. The ultimate “exchange student,” he has been mailed around the world non-stop since 1995 as a part of the Flat Stanley Project; and now, children can meet Flat Stanley in person during The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley at the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, October 25, at 11am.

In The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Stanley Lambchop is a normal boy who wants to do something amazing. One night, the bulletin board above his bed falls right on top of him – and he wakes up flat! Making the best of things, Stanley decides to fold himself into a big envelope and travel around the world. In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley explores the globe and learns that heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Written by Timothy Allen McDonald, the writer behind Willy Wonka and James And The Giant Peach, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley are a must-see for all children who dream of adventure.

Beyond The Stage Musical Presentation: Please join us for a free pre-show musical performance by School of Rock of the Palm Beaches at 10am in the Dreyfoos lobby.
