PRLog -- Lenny Holtzman is the owner of Roots Organic Hair, a Massachusetts-
based salon that is dedicated to promoting and supporting a cleaner environment, world class education, and healthier and happier clients through the use of chemical-free services and products and natural-looking hair highlighting.Lenny has nearly five decades of experience as an innovator in the hair care industry. After completing training in Europe under a hairdresser apprenticeship program, he began working in New York City for Paul Mitchell on Fifth Avenue. At nineteen years old, Lenny created a wig company, London Wiggery Ltd. which expanded into seventeen stores in Boston and New York. Lenny went on to open Hair I Am on Charles Street and a second location on Newburg Street. Lenny arrived on the Cape in 1982 and established Roots in the Dunfey’s Hotel which is now the Sheraton Hyannis. He provided hair services for the entertainers at the Melody Tent for ten years. Lenny also became a hair care provider for a number of celebrity and political clientele including the Kennedy family. In 2010, Lenny opened Roots-Organic-Hair in Marstons Mills. He is the innovator of the unique “Hidden Lights” hair highlighting technique, which uses a chemical-free process and an innovative hair weaving method to create beautiful, stunning and natural-looking hair highlights. Well respected for his dedication and exceptional service, he credits his success to passion, hard work, deep commitment to client satisfaction, and always staying true to his vision. A longtime resident of Centerville, Lenny maintains an active agenda of philanthropic undertakings and supports several charitable organizations. He is also an education activist who hopes to pass legislation to correct existing educational problems and clean up America's school systems. In his spare time, Lenny enjoys being with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
