Strut Bridal Salon Hosts Dress Drive To Collect Wedding Dresses For Wish Upon A Wedding in November

LONG BEACH, Calif. - Nov. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- WHAT:          Strut Bridal Salon, an upscale bridal salon in Long Beach specializing in plus size wedding dresses, is holding a special Dress Drive from November 1-25 to collect wedding dresses to support charity.  Local women in the Southern California area are encouraged to "give thanks" this Holiday season by donating their wedding dresses to support Wish Upon A Wedding, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing weddings and vow renewals for individuals facing terminal illness and serious life changing circumstances.  The wedding dresses will be collected and resold by Wish Upon A Wedding's partner, Brides for a Cause, which collects and resells thousands of wedding dresses each year at its Portland  bridal store, online and at 2-day road show events in select cities including Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego.

         Wedding gowns 2008 and newer will be accepted during the month long Dress Drive in November.  Donations are tax deductible.  All sizes and styles will be accepted.   Donation forms and tax receipts will be available at Strut Bridal Salon.  Items may be dropped off anytime during store hours listed below.

         Proceeds from collecting and reselling these wedding gowns will help Wish Upon A Wedding grant free weddings for couples in need.  Wish Upon A Wedding has granted over 70 wedding wishes, including several recent wedding wishes in the Southern California area.
