Riddle of the Exporter and Kansas Achieve 100% Pass Rate on SBA Export Trade Certification

WICHITA, Kan. - Nov. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- In October 2014, the Kansas SBDC and The Riddle of the Exporter™ Training Seminars, teamed up to take the Kansas SBDC Consultants to the next level in export knowledge.  The Riddle of the Exporter™, an 8-Step Process to Conquer the World of Exporting presented a two-day on-site training covering in depth each of the eight steps needed for successful exporting.  The training culminated with the Consultants utilizing The Riddle of the Exporter™ Workbook and presenting an International Launch Plan™ for their product.

In addition to increasing export knowledge, a key goal of the seminar was a sufficient pass rate for the SBA Export Trade and Counseling Certification Test.  The KSBDC Consultants had a perfect 100% pass rate.

The Kansas SBDC is the touchstone for small business in the state; assisting new business owners with start up basics, ongoing consulting and finance guidance for expansion. The goal of the Kansas SBDC in regards to exporting is to encourage clients with exportable products and services to consider the benefits of expanding into global markets.  Working with other Kansas resources, the KSBDC can help new exporters understand this common sense 8-step process and assist them in finding private and public resources to continue with them through the journey.

In January 2015, the KSBDC will launch their marketing campaign throughout the state with promotion and education of small businesses so they can recognize that sustainable, recession proof growth is possible through exporting.
