Unique, Unheralded Author, Poet - T. Mayu Bogollagama

WASHINGTON - Nov. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- I have been working with Shelley Houston at Just Dust Publishers and have learned so much about the publishing world from her.  She is a lovely woman who runs a boutique publishing house whose mission is to "Publish Books of Redeeming Value".

She has opened my eyes and the key lesson that I learned from her is that there are so many talented writers who are under published and not recognized. As an example, I am so fortunate to have met Janet Stortin through Shelley who is about to publish "The Grass That Suffers" an engaging true story about an African  woman who was kidnapped by thugs from a warlord's child army.

On the same note I recently met a local author who is unique and versatile and who in my humble opinion deserves some recognition.  T. Mayu Bogollagama has written several books of poems including "Genres of Love", "Salute to Serendipity", and "Moons of Desire".

Myu comes across in person as a gentle man with a Buddhist approach to life.  He is soft spoken, helps those around him and is caring for his mother.  The book titled "Genres of Love" is actually dedicated to her.

Reminiscent of C.S. Lewis you can feel the love that the author feels for the object of his affection.

His poems are worth a read. They are sure to evoke in you passion and longing for the love who has left for a few days and who is coming home soon.
