Files" set to shoot season 2 episode at haunted Swannanoa Palace in Afton, VAUnique group of paranormal investigators are heading to Afton, VA, to investigate legendary Swannanoa Palace. This never before seen on TV location will be featured in paranormal reality show, "The R.I.P. Files."
By: Mairn Group Productions LLC "We enjoy networking with other paranormal groups and researchers around the world," R.I.P. founder Patricia Marin explained. "We're very happy to be working with TPS on this episode. They did the first official paranormal investigation here and we're going to share some of their evidence with our viewers." R.I.P. investigators Kenna Hunter, Amelia Cotter, Mark C. Higgins, and Malinka Franklin are hoping to contact the spirit of Sally May Dooley, widow of millionaire James Dooley, who built Swannanoa Palace in 1912 as a gift to his beloved wife. More than 300 artisans were hired to create the palace as a replica of the Villa de Medici in Rome. Swannanoa has also been a country club, a moonshine distillery during Prohibition, and a school. The current owner rents out the property for weddings and conferences, as well as paranormal tours and investigations. "The R.I.P. Files" is a different kind of paranormal TV show. Based in the Washington DC area, the team's goal is to interact with the entities they encounter at haunted locations. They encourage the spirits to share their stories in their own words through amazing EVPs and other evidence that is bridging the gap between the worlds of science and spirituality. Produced by Marin Group Productions and distributed by New Dominion Pictures, the series may also be available on a US cable TV network in 2015. "The R.I.P. Files" has a website (www.theripfiles.tv) End
