Cheryl Pullins, confirmed speaker for first TEDx event in the nation held in women’s prison, 11

MUNCY, Pa. - Nov. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- From gun shot victim to empowering women worldwide, Cheryl Pullins, now uses her personal struggle to help women live victoriously. Pullins also known as the “Iconic Legacy Brand Purveyor and Speaker”, helps women of all walks of life to develop their own legacies, build brands and create the very best life possible. Cheryl will have the esteemed opportunity to share her message of empowerment with a unique audience of two hundred attendees at Muncy State Prison on Friday, November 21st.  Pullins will share the platform with other speakers including Piper Kerman, author of the highly acclaimed Orange is the New Black, which inspired the award-winning Netflix original series. Cheryl was hand selected by the Secretary of Corrections for the State of Pennsylvania as a guest that will “bring a powerful and important message to the offenders, some whom will never be released back into their communities” according to PA. Department of Corrections Superintendent, Marirosa Lamas.

TEDx, is a program that thrives on its mission of “ideas worth spreading” and allows independent entities to host and organize their own TED events such as the one hosted by the PA. Dept. of Corrections. In joining with TEDx for this event, Cheryl will continue to expand her territory as one of the country’s most sought after women’s coaches and empowerment speakers. The event will be videotaped and posted on the TEDx YouTube channel afterwards.
