Champaign Family To Be Honored At The 2015 Tournament Of Roses Parade

Donate Life Illinois and Illinois Eye-Bank hosts Donate Life Rose Parade Float Rally

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Nov. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- WHAT:          Donate Life Illinois, the Illinois Eye-Bank and members of the community will join Champaign locals, Shelia and Terry Walters as they add the final touches to a memorial floragraph featuring their son, Caleb, who passed away at age 20 in 2008 and gave sight to others as a cornea donor. The floragraph – a floral image of Caleb, captured in flowers, seeds and spices – will adorn the 2015 Donate Life Rose Parade Float during the annual Tournament of the Roses Parade on New Year’s Day in Pasadena, Ca.

Caleb’s floragraph will be one of 81 colorful tributes memorializing organ, eye and tissue donors nationwide that will adorn the 2015 Donate Life Float.

Cindy Loula, the recipient of Caleb’s cornea, will also attend the Tournament of the Roses Parade.
