Las Vegas Legends Entertainer Developing Multi-Media to Tribute Presentation Shows

LAS VEGAS - Nov. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Las Vegas, NV – For the last 15 years, Michael Carluccio has delivered a nostalgic journey for his listeners through his songs of the Las Vegas legends:  Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis Jr., Paul Anka, Johnny Cash, Johnny Mathis, Marty Robbins and many others.

Carluccio is moving forward with his Las Vegas Legend shows by adding multi-media and special effects to future presentations with staging and backlighting.

Backlight is a term used in visual arts such as photography, film and stage lighting that simply means “light that comes from behind.” A light source placed on the opposite side of the “subject” (model, actor) from a viewer’s (camera, audience) point of view.

Another inclusion towards Michael’s concerts’ multi-media is a technique which is also called black light, a theatrical performance style characterized by the use of black box theatre augmented by black light illusion. This form of theater originated from Asia and can be found in many places around the world. It has become a specialty of Prague, where many theaters use it.

Shadow play, a form of storytelling and entertainment, uses flat figures to create cut-out figures held between a source of light and a translucent screen or scrim. The cut-out shapes of the figures could be instruments, iconic people and their recognizable features. Various effects can be achieved by moving both the figures and the light source.

Carluccio and his production staff will also use video of his music genre’s giants.  This new innovation will speed up the audience’s nostalgic tour to their own memories as teens and young adults.
