SSE attends the 7th Asia Solar Energy Forum in Seoul, South Korea

GANGNAM-GU, South Korea - Nov. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- During October 16 to 17, the 7th Asia Solar Energy Forum (ASEF) was held in the COEX Centre in Seoul, South Korea. The general manager of SSE’s International Division, Colin Gillam, and Solar Division director, Feng Wei, were invited to attend. The Forum was co-hosted by Asian Development Bank (ADB), Asia Solar Energy Forum (ASEF), and South Korea MOTIE, with more than 150 representatives from the solar industry and government offices discussing the marketing situation, policies, financing and technology innovation.

During the meeting, SSE had very constructive conversations with the Asian Development Bank, which illustrated that they would like to support and fund any project that would increase solar power output and other renewable energy. Moreover, many companies, from countries like Philippines, Maldives, Thailand, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, India and South Korea, showed great interests in SSE’s solar inverters and EPC projects. As a Chinese solar giant, SSE was present at this kind of platform to become more actively involved with potential markets and seek new opportunities.
