Chinook Enterprises— Third Quarter Boeing QMIP Award Winner

MOUNT VERNON, Wash. - Nov. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Mount Vernon, WA. November 25, 2014—Chinook Enterprises Fabrication and assembly division received Boeing’s prestigious “Quality: Make It Personal” award for the second quarter running and third time in two years. The award gives the spotlight to suppliers who achieve exceptional quality standards on Boeing parts.

Achieving such quality depends on people who care and pay attention to detail. That’s where “Make it Personal” comes in.

Chinook’s history with Boeing dates back to 1987 when Chinook began assembling parts for the 747 Program.

“BOEING is a great partner for us,” said Tom Williams, Chinook Fabrication Division Manager. “Open dialogue at any point along the work flow enables us to deliver the end product they need.”

Boeing’s Auburn Plant Quality Staff presented the award to Chinook’s Fabrication and assembly team earlier this month. In addition to the trophy, BOEING staff handed out gift bags to every employee in the division.
