Small Florida-Based Startup Launches The Ultimate Bluetooth “Thing Finder” on Kickstarter

Promising And Most Inexpensive Bluetooth Tracking Device In The Market

MELBOURNE, Fla. - Dec. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Team Hiro, made up of recent college grads based in Melbourne, FL, teams up with local technology startup to launch on Kickstarter the ultimate gadget for those who can never find their belongings: the Hiro. This Bluetooth “thing finder” uses Bluetooth Low Energy Technology to find lost and misplaced items. Users activate the Hiro smartphone app on their iOS or Android devices, which in turn triggers a beeping sound from the Hiro it is linked to. The app also helps the user by displaying the Hiro’s proximity to the smartphone through its proximity signal sensor, and is able to warn users when they get too far from their device. The Hiro is no larger than a dog tag, and is as thin as two coins stacked up, making it easy to place on key chains, attach to backpacks, luggage, wallets, or even to place on pets’ collars. And the gadget is 100% designed and assembled in the USA.

Its Kickstarter campaign is promising. The gadget is definitely a runner up in the Bluetooth tracking devices category. It is small, easy to use, available in multiple colors, and works with both Apple and Android devices. Compared to other Bluetooth tracking devices, it is water-resistant and much smaller than the existing ones, operating at a range of up to 200 feet – 50 feet beyond what most competitor devices can offer. And for those who like technology at their fingertips at an affordable price, the Hiro might just be the best choice: 10 dollars each, compared to the current cheapest one in the market at 18 dollars.

“The Hiro team has worked diligently to produce the best finder device on the market. Bringing replaceable battery capability, multiple colors and an easy to use consumer product will change the way people interact with their small keys and valuables!” assures product manager Aleks Bologna.

Team Hiro is working closely with the product design and manufacturing team at Jaycon Systems, a small startup engineering company based in the sunshine state, also started by recent graduate students. And by being located in the United States, team Hiro is using their resources through Jaycon to produce the gadget quickly and efficiently. Upon the successful Kickstarter campaign, Jaycon will begin circuit board assembly and injection molding as well as order fulfillment to backers no later than February 2015.

Jaycon Systems (http://www.jayconsystems.com/) began as an e-commerce website selling electronic components and providing DIY tutorials. They have expanded to become a “concept-to-manufacturing” design firm that helps entrepreneurs, inventors, and companies bring their ideas to life. They provide services such as PCB design and assembly, injection molding, 3D printing and laser cutting.
