Nimbus Concept adopts Storage Made Easy Enterprise File Share and Sync Solution for OpenStack Swift

The integration of the Storage Made Easy Enterprise File Share and Sync Solution enables Nimbus Concept to enhances their OpenStack offering with strong business features, such as offering secure password protected file sharing with time expiry; Mac, Windows and Linux desktop synchronization; file content search; security and corporate governance features such as auditing, file tracking and GEO location restrictions; Native support for all mobile devices including Android, iOS, Windows phone and BlackBerry; full branding from web, to desktop and mobile.

The Storage Made Easy Solution also adds a protocol gateway which exposes access to OpenStack Swift data over FTP / WebDav / SFTP and from an Amazon S3 compatible API, enabling complete flexibility of access.

In addition to OpenStack the SME solution currently supports more than 45 private and public data clouds such as Amazon S3, EMC Atmos, Cloudian, SharePoint, SalesForce, Office 365 and CleverSafe. It acts as a Cloud Control point to enable secure sharing auditing and governance of cloud data.

Nimbus Concept will use the SME Enterprise Cloud Solution as part of a hybrid cloud product (SaaS and IaaS) behind the corporate firewall as an enabler to offer Application solutions for on-premise OpenStack Swift deployments.
