Mr. Levine's plays will also be the core of the Foundation's new PlayGround initiative, which will increase the amount free plays to schools. "Dramatic arts education budgets continue to be cut, so we created the PlayGround, which is exactly what schools need right now - great short plays that audiences love and are easy to produce", said Rusty Citron, President of The Actors Hall of Fame in making the announcement. "This exciting partnership with Mark Harvey Levine gives students and educators access to award winning plays. We now have a strong repertoire of plays that we can use for Dramatic Choices, our outreach program to stop kids from dropping out of high school" said Citron. The PlayGround will also provide content for online 'One Act Festivals' throughout the year. End
