‘Two lines’ define Maya and Ser Chief’s New Year on TFC’s Be Careful With My Heart Rewind

QUEZON CITY, Philippines - Dec. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- The longest-running, well-loved Filipino morning drama series may have reached its end in the Philippines but Filipinos worldwide will continue to feel the ‘kapit-bisig’ fever with The Filipino Channel’s (TFC) continuous run of “Be Careful With My Heart Rewind,” sub-titled for non-Filipino speaking viewers worldwide.

On the first episode of the series this December, viewers worldwide are in for an exciting treat as Maya (Jodi Sta. Maria) and Ser Chief (Richard Yap) celebrate the coming of the year with their loved ones.  Everyone is greeted by cheers of “Happy New Year” and sparks from the colorful fireworks displayed around the neighborhood.  Everyone’s fervent wish is that the New Year blesses them with a new addition to the family.  The Lim family also takes their first official family photo for the year.  This episode airs on December 7, Sunday (December 6, Saturday Dubai and Pacific time).

On the second episode of the rewind series airing on December 14, Sunday (December 13, Saturday Dubai and Pacific time), Luke (Jerome Ponce), Nikki (Janella Salvador), and Abby (Mutya Orquia) keep on asking Maya about when they will have a baby brother or sister, leaving our heroine speechless.  One of the highlights of this episode is when Ser Chief arrives home from work and sees his kids sleeping with Maya on their bed, proof of how the children have come to embrace Maya as their second mother.  Back in San Nicolas, Arturo (Lito Pimentel) welcomes back Teresita (Sylvia Sanchez), Kute (Aiza Seguerra), and Cho (JM Ibañez)from their New Year celebration at the Lim residence.  He even prepares them dishes but Kute seems aloof and is nervous about the idea of her mother and father getting back together.  The episode reaches its high point when Maya starts to feel nauseous, one of the manifestations of pregnancy.  Maya and Ser Chief decide to go to the doctor to have Maya’s condition checked.  To their biggest surprise, the test reflected two lines which meant Maya’s pregnancy was positive.

The third episode of the series finds Maya and Ser Chief still in complete awe with the best news that they received for the New Year.  They go to an obstetrician/gynecologist just to confirm if Maya really is expecting.  The test of the doctor proves positive once more which makes the couple very happy, prompting them to start thinking of a name for their still unborn child.  Back in the Lim residence, the kids accidentally see the result of Maya’s first check-up and the news of Maya’s pregnancy swiftly passes from one mouth to the another, even reaching Lola Esmeralda (Marissa Delgado) and Lola Teresita.  When Maya and Ser Chief arrive, the tables turn as the kids surprise them with the news.  This exciting episode airs on December 21, Sunday (December 20, Pacific time).

The last episode airing on December 28, Sunday (December 27, Saturday Pacific time) showcases Maya’s pregnant state, including her morning sickness and her sensitive smell.  Maya and Ser Chief’s family also join hands or do a “kapit-bisig,” a term made popular by the show, as they help Maya with her pregnancy.   Doña Esmeralda, Teresita, and Manang Fe (Gloria Sevilla)share the dos and don’ts of pregnancy.
