In fact, only 7% of people said that they actually prefer the driving conditions now than they did then. One of the biggest concerns for motorists is the cost of driving now compared to 25 years ago. There are a number of other reasons too, which include the volume of traffic, the condition of the roads and the behaviour of other motorists. Twenty-eight per cent of the drivers surveyed said that other drivers are much more aggressive today than they were 25 years ago. Although, over a third of driver (35%) said that they feel safer on the roads today with the improved technology than they used to. Twenty per cent of drivers believe that by 2038 we will rely much less on our cars, which will have a great impact on the environment. 78% of drivers believe that we should be worried about the environment and one company that joins this 78 per cent is Recycling Monkey.
