Anima comprises of producer/ composer/ multi-instrumentalist Ali Calderwood and vocalist/ songwriter Daniela Broder. Both as independent artists and a duo, working with sound and the healing arts, Anima have forged an engaging new style of new age music that is known for its depth andambience, moving the listener into deep states of stillness and peace.

Ali and Daniela have both lived in the UK and within other cultures, studying ancient healing practices and the use of sacred sound. They have produced a number of music albums and guided meditation CDs, and also offer sound healing concerts, workshops, retreats and healing work in the UK and internationally.

Anima has just released their newest album“Temple Of The Heart HD”. This is a reworking of the 2010 album “Temple Of The Heart”, and has been reproduced with some new vocals, lyrics and guitar, and remastered in high resolution DSD. DSD is 64 times the sound quality of a normal CD.. The sound is much cleaner, brighter and present, giving the music a more live feel.

Anima’s “Sacred Alliance” album was also released this year, which is an intricate instrumental album was inspired by their time spent with some indigenous elders and journeys through mountains, forests and ancient lands. Sacred Alliance the first album Anima have recorded and produced solely in DSD. It was mastered in their new studio in the Scottish Highlands, which is powered by the renewable energy of water and sunlight.

The best selling and highly acclaimed album “Sound Medicine” has also been remastered and is now available as “Sound Medicine HD”. Sound Medicine is an instrumental album of meditation music, using the Solfeggio healing frequencies. It is widely used to aid relaxation and healing for body, mind and soul.

Covering a broad range of genres from Acoustic Electronica to New Age and Healing Music, these albums have been created using a range of instruments, sounds and vocals, to create rich soundscapes for inspiration, relaxation, healing and meditation, moving the listener to remember the soul's deep knowing of the Divine, and the stillness of heart.
