Details Announced for New York Collaborative Live Art Show, FutureArt 2015 Presented by Bai

NEW YORK - Dec. 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015 from 7-10PM at New York City's renowned 1 OAK, FutureArt 2015 presented by Bai (www.drinkbai.com) will feature a special live music performance by Brainfeeder recording artist, Taylor McFerrin (www.TaylorMcFerrin.com), three innovative and engaging art presentations, and an awards ceremony recognizing key supporters of the arts in New York City. FutureArt 2015 is proud to support arts education for youth in New York City's public schools, with a portion of proceeds benefiting our nonprofit partner B.E.A.T. NYC (www.beatnyc.org). FutureArt 2015 will also feature live performances from student participants of B.E.A.T.'s programs in local public schools. FutureArt 2015 presented by Bai is a special event asking five of New York City's rising artists to step outside of their comfort zone, by collaborating with fellow artists to create an interactive, emotional work of art, pulling together from unlimited possibilities to express their art including music, dance, spoken word, film, painting, and other forms of fine art. After six weeks of collaboration, artists will present at FutureArt 2015, where a special guest panel of judges, alongside the event's audience, will select one artist to take home the event's grand prize including the FutureArtist 2015 Award, a prize package from the event's sponsors, and a one-year public relations contract with NY-based corporate communications firm Lawrence Blake Group Int'l.

Tickets for FutureArt 2015 will be available for purchase beginning December 8th, 2014. Tickets start at $40 for general admission per person, and $100 for reserved seating per person and includes complimentary 1-hour open bar and hor d'oeuvres, as well as special recognition during the event. 1 Oak is located at 453 W 17th Street, New York, NY 10011.
