San Diego Writers, Ink to descend on Christmas in the Village Event December 12

SAN DIEGO - Dec. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Authors at San Diego Writers, Ink (SDWI) believe that one of the best gifts anyone can give is the gift of a story and so they’ve decided to share their group’s stories with attendees at the 25th Annual Christmas in the Village event in La Mesa, California this Friday, December 12 staring at 8:30 p.m. The regular second Friday of the month meeting of DimeStories, where writers read three minutes of prose at an open mic at SDWI’s Liberty station facility, will take place on the streets of La Mesa Boulevard near Goodwill plaza.

San Diego Writers, Ink’s mission is to serve as a hub for the literary community by promoting literature, providing artistic development for writers at all levels and facilitating artistic collaboration. The group can help writers find and write their stories.

In addition to the readings, event goers will get a chance to see Writers, Ink's founder, Judy Reeves; Writers, Ink Executive Director, Kristen Fogle; and writer Jill Hall in the parade that will run down La Mesa Boulevard at 5 p.m. Walking alongside them will be costumed storybook characters. Participants can also visit Writers, Ink at their booth--located at space #10.
