BabyGearLab Names Best Baby Backpack for 2014

CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Dec. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Test-based baby product review site, BabyGearLab, has released the official results of their 2014 best baby backpack review.  Over the course of three months, editors pitted six popular packs against each other in order to find which would out-perform their counterparts.  Based on extensive, hands-on field and lab tests, each pack was graded on a strict set of criteria including: child comfort, ease-of-use, safety, parent comfort and storage.

Following is the award winner:

Phil and Teds Escape was crowned Editors’ Choice.  “This pack was easy to use, carried all our gear effortlessly, and kept both parent and baby comfortable for hours,” noted BabyGearLab founder, Dr. Juliet Spurrier.  “The Escape hit all our marks, including the capacity to incorporate a hydration bladder for water storage.  When you’re on the trail all day, this feature can be a lifesaver.”

BabyGearLab has also published the complementary article, “How to Choose the Best Baby Backpack,” which will aid in guiding parents through the sometimes confusing process of finding their perfect piece of baby gear.  It will urge parents to ask the important questions they might not have thought about otherwise.

The backpacks were tested in real-world situations in the mountains of Colorado.  Loaded with a days worth of necessities plus a baby, the packs were taken on a variety of outings, thrown into the back of cars, adjusted and passed between different sized users all while receiving critical, comparative analysis.
