During the ceremony, he mentioned that “Mexico and the Mexicali campus are essential elements in the manufacturing strategy of Honeywell Aerospace.” “We are extremely proud of the work of our employees in Mexicali, which is contributing to the safety and efficiency of commercial flights worldwide.” The new manufacturing plant (known as Plant II) is an extension of the first plant of Mexicali Aerospace, founded in 1979. Currently, Honeywell Aerospace Mexicali has 2,000 employees within its campus, with an expected growth of 2,200 in 2018.
