Courtesy Chevrolet, located at 1233 E. Camelback Rd. in Phoenix, would like to make all small business owners aware of the Section 179 tax deduction that can help with their 2014 taxes. This program lets small businesses take write-offs for equipment purchases, such as vehicles and trucks. With the 2014 tax incentives, small business owners could be eligible for up to a total of $25,000 in tax deductions when qualifying GM vehicles are purchased for their business before Dec. 31, 2014. Time is running out quickly. Currently, small business owners can deduct up to $25,000 for larger trucks and SUVs, such as the Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevrolet Traverse. Also eligible for the maximum deduction is the Chevrolet Express Cargo Van, Chevrolet Express Cutaway Van, and Chevrolet Express Passenger 2500 and 3500 vans. Other Chevrolet vehicles that qualify for a deduction up to $3,160 are the Camaro, City Express, Colorado, Corvette, Cruze, Equinox, Impala, Malibu, Sonic, Spark, SS Sedan, and Volt. So long as the vehicles are used more than 50 percent in a business, they qualify. Come into Courtesy Chevrolet before the end of the year to take advantage of this program.
