HARROGATE, U.K. - Dec. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Yorkshire digital agency Vital Online Studio has taken on an apprentice web developer who has spent time in the Moray Firth as part of a dolphin conservation project.

Adam Martin is 19-years-old and from Pocklington, and joins Knaresborough-based Vital after studying software development at York College.

As part of his year-long apprenticeship he will share his time between Vital's office in Manse Lane, Knaresborough, and the QA Training College in Leeds.

Andy Topps, sales director at Vital Online Studio, which is part of Vital Technology Group said: "Adam joins at an important time for the agency as we become ever busier.

"The initial purpose of employing Adam is to support our senior developers until he completes his training and is able to move into a higher role."

Adam spent some of summer 2013 as part of a team of volunteers cleaning beaches around Chanonry Point, in the Moray Firth, which is a well-known dolphin viewing area.

Founded in 1996, Vital has an annual turnover in excess of £1m, and specialises in web development and outsourced IT support and management services.
