Fundraising for Clydesdale Action Group at Tinto House

BIGGAR, Scotland - Dec. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Clydesdale Action Group are holding a special event at Tinto House Hotel to raise awareness of their tireless work in the local area as well as raise funds for the voluntary organisation. Entry is completely free to the event on Thursday 18^th December, which kicks off at 6pm and will feature a buffet, raffle and disco, finishing at 9pm.

The volunteer community group consist of a team of volunteers who carry out many different services in the Clydesdale area including gritting the pavements for the elderly and in school areas. The caring volunteers also run a 24 hour free-phone helpline to assist elderly or vulnerable people with everyday task such as changing light bulbs or providing heaters for people with broken boilers.

Any funding raised will go towards the creation of a website, increasing the scope of the kids’ Cyber Club and taking over the maintenance of the Community Halls in the area. Tinto House Hotel are delighted to be able to support the work of the community group by hosting their fundraiser this week.
