ABRA Auto Body & Glass Donates $20,000 to Children’s Hospital Colorado

MINNEAPOLIS - Dec. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a leading national damaged vehicle repair company, donated $20,000 from funds raised during ABRA’s 16^th annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Dozens of well-wishers, ABRA personnel, and Children’s Hospital Colorado staff were on hand to accept the check during the presentation ceremony on December 3, 2014.

Over 200 golfers and guests gathered earlier this summer for the annual golf tournament at The Pinery Country Club in Parker, Colorado to support the Children’s Hospital Colorado.

“Thanks to the tremendous support provided by ABRA Auto Body & Glass, Children’s Hospital Colorado will be able to continue our efforts to help keep families safe and healthy, including children with special health care needs. We truly couldn’t do what we do without them. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation go out to all of the ABRA associates that made this wonderful gift possible,” said Dwayne Smith, injury prevention manager at Children's Hospital Colorado.

The 16^th annual golf event supports the Injury Prevention Program at Children’s Hospital Colorado, whose mission is to keep kids safe from preventable injuries, the leading cause of death and disability among Colorado kids.

“We are privileged to support Children’s Hospital Colorado with their pediatric research to improve children’s health,” said Russ Slocum, ABRA’s market vice president in Colorado. “We are delighted to contribute to a cause that supports the health of children in our community.”
