Legacy Equipment Hires Former Salt Lake County Fleet Director John Webster

SALT LAKE CITY - Dec. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Legacy Equipment Company announced the recent hiring of John Webster as the organization’s general manager.

Webster, a long-time fleet director for Salt Lake County, was nominated three times (2011, 2012, 2014) for the Public Sector Manager of the Year and will apply the experience he gained in county public works to providing tailor-made service at Legacy Equipment.

As Fleet Director for Salt Lake County, Webster identified $20.2 million in excess fund balances and returned it to the county coffers. While enacting efficiencies and centralizing fleet management, Webster helped reduce the annual county operational budget by $4 million. He also received a P2 environmental award for taking the department from violation status to conditional exempt.
