Michigan ElderCare Coordinator to Serve on Keeping Us Safe’s ‘Executive Vision Committee’

HOLLY, Mich. - Dec. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Keeping Us Safe is pleased to announce that Ina. J. Golden, RN, has accepted a position on Keeping Us Safe’s five member Executive Vision Committee.

Keeping Us Safe is a national organization that provides practical, real-life solutions to older drivers and their families as they find themselves faced with the issue of age-related diminishing driving skills.

Keeping Us Safe’s Executive Vision Committee serves to provide valuable insight and direction in helping Keeping Us Safe develop and execute prudent and sound business decisions, furthering our ability to deliver an even higher quality of professional service to older drivers and their families throughout the United States, Canada, and beyond.

As an eldercare coordinator from a Michigan law firm, Golden works directly with older adults and their families.  She also brings decades of professional nursing experience to the Committee.  “Ina Golden’s professional experience and delightful personality make her the perfect complement to our Executive Vision Committee” says Matt Gurwell, founder of Keeping Us Safe.  “Her can-do attitude and her life-long passion for helping older adults played a key role in her selection to the Committee” Gurwell concluded.

As a registered nurse with over thirty years of experience in many areas of healthcare, including emergency rooms, Golden has experience as a nursing educator and has also served as the Injury Prevention Coordinator for one of Michigan’s Regional Medical Center’s trauma departments.

Golden’s diverse background, formal education, professional and personal experiences make her a welcome addition to the Committee.  Golden joins current Committee members Jo Rinehart (Fairfield, PA), Nancy Schuster (Cincinnati, OH), Michael Ellenbogen (Jamison, PA), and Yan Ross (Prescott, AZ).  Golden resides in Holly, Michigan, with her husband, James.  Her appointment to the Executive Vision Committee becomes effective January 1, 2015.
