December 31, 2014: For nearly a decade Master Jeweler Stephen Page has taught the art of metalsmithing and stone-cutting to aspiring jewelry makers in Baltimore. He has done this for free, in his jewelry manufacturing studio, The Front Room, formerly located in the Woodberry, Baltimore. In November of 2014 the lease on the Front Room ended. Page was forced to find a new location and has moved to the New Systems Bakery Building, in Baltimore’s historic and artsy Hampden neighborhood. The new building is ideal but it needs a considerable amount of construction for Page to continue his teaching and manufacturing business. Page has launched a Kickstarter campaign called, Moving The Studio.
