Carlos A. Garcia, MD Joins the Team at Dermatology Assocaiates of Oklahoma

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Jan. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Dermatology Associates of Oklahoma is pleased to announce that the distinguished and accomplished MOH’s Surgeon, Dr. Carlos A. Garcia, MD will be working with their growing practice moving forward.  Dr Garcia comes to Dermatology Associates of Oklahoma with over 25 years of clinical experience.  Before entering private practice, Dr Garcia served as the Director of Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Oklahoma from 2000 to 2012.

A graduate of Universad Anahuac, Escuela De Medicina, Dr Garcia completed his Dermatology Residency at Allegheny General Hospital-Western Pennsylvania Hospital and his two-year fellowship in MOH’s Micrographic Surgery at Duke University.  Dr Garcia is the immediate past-president of the American Society for MOH’s Surgery and the immediate past-president of the Oklahoma State Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Society. Dr. Garcia has published 34 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a regular speaker in various national and international meetings every year. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
