A unique and key innovative feature we helped implement is the ‘Smart Buy’ functionality.

The Smart Buy option allows customers to place orders for manufacturing jewelry online while letting them avail price benefits and discounts specific to the order. Customers can browse and select products from its online collection, which includes bridal ornaments as well as everyday jewelry that is currently in stock or out of stock for manufacturing. Rings, bangles, chains and bracelets may be tailored to the customer's size specification using the smart buy feature in combination with the customization option. The approximate price and time of delivery of each manufacturing order is displayed for each product on the website. When a customer ticks the smart buy option, the exclusive price estimate appears instantly.

In addition to this feature, we helped improve customer personalization by offering the ability to order “made-to-measure” products as well as semi-customized jewelry products. The Embitel E-Commerce team worked closely with Malabar Gold & Diamonds to improve the website navigation structure and filters. This enables customers to quickly find what they are looking for, thereby minimizing delay and visitor bounce rate.  The option to save multiple measurements for future reference was also implemented.
