v3® receives its 20th US Patent for Parallax Visualization application

RESTON, Va. - Jan. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Vision III Imaging, Inc. (v3) a leader in parallax visualization technologies, addressing both commercial and military applications, has received a Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its US Patent Application titled, System and Method for Three-Dimensional Visualization of Geographical Data. The patent that will issue in the next few months teaches methods for applying the v3 Parallax Visualization (PV) techniques to geographical browser data like Google Earth. PV is a v3 technique for capturing three-dimensional depth information over time and embedding it into standard video imagery in a manner that creates a dimensionally enhanced imagery that can be distributed as normal video and viewed on any standard display (4K to mobile) without 3D glasses or special screens. This is the Company’s 20^th US Patent to receive allowance since its inception.

v3 is currently developing a PV software toolset for Google Earth data. This project will complement v3’s growing line of Parallax Visualizing software and optical tools.
