NIPR organises public debate for Lagos guber candidates

IKEJA, Nigeria - Jan. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- As part of its resolve, to entrench strong democratic values, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Lagos chapter, is set to organise a public debate among all the governorship candidates in Lagos State, ahead of the 2015 gubernatorial elections tagged, Lagos decides 2015.


The institute in a statement signed by Chairman, Lagos state chapter of NIPR, Barrister Joseph Okonmah, and Chairman Lagos decides 2015, Comrade Jola Ogunlusi, said that the idea is to sensitize the electorate by creating an opportunity for the candidates to present their strategic plans in moving Lagos state forward.

The statement added that the debate will be organized in partnership with the Institute’s media partners.

Lagos decides 2015 also promises to be an avenue for all critical stakeholders to engage the candidates in the spirit of participatory democracy.
