Milner, Inc. Delivers High-impact Technology Makeover at Ronald McDonald House of Durham

RALEIGH, N.C. - Jan. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, NC -- Milner, Inc., a technology company and full service provider of innovative office solutions, has just completed a technology makeover for Ronald McDonald House of Durham, one of the 2014 “Technology JumpStart Your Nonprofit” contest winners. The makeover is valued at $20,000.

Ronald McDonald House of Durham was one of two organizations to win the contest. Both organizations were selected based on public voting for a nonprofit with 15 or less employees and 16 or more employees, respectively.

After a thorough assessment of the needs and existing technology at Ronald McDonald House, Milner tailored a custom technology makeover that included 5 desktop computers, 3 laptop computers, 3 monitors and 8 wireless mice, installation and mounting a front door monitor, installation and mounting a faceplate to the TV controller, implementation of digital signage and project management services.

This high-impact gift will strengthen Ronald McDonald House’s ability to provide families with a home away from home while their children receive services at local hospitals. With enhanced technology, they are better able to serve their families more efficiently and effectively, and can adapt and respond more quickly to the changing needs of the families they support.

Now in its third year, Technology JumpStart Your Nonprofit has run in Atlanta, GA and Raleigh-Durham, NC with great success.
