Ready, Dress, GO! Formal Gown Giveaway Schedule Feb 7th 2015

CLEVELAND - Jan. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Ready Dress Go is a nonprofit organization started in 2011 as a project to provide prom dresses to teens whose families were financially challenged. It quickly became evident to the founders that formal events can be a stressful time for both adults and teens in need. Ready Dress Go is honored to alleviate that stress for many in Northeastern Ohio.


100% of the donations provided to Ready Dress Go, by local businesses, organizations and individuals have outfitted over 450 young ladies and have provided an economic solution for many families in Akron and surrounding areas.

Over $32,000 in merchandise, goods, and services were provided to prom-bound teens in 2014 – entirely free! More than 200 people attended last year’s event, including volunteers from local churches, University of Akron, Girl Scouts of America, United States Army, and Miss Ohio International.

The next dress giveaway is scheduled at the Crystal Chalet in Cleveland on February 7th 2015. They will be targeting the local U.S. Army Cleveland Metro Recruting Company and their spouses, whom have their own Military Formal in March of 2015 to attend.
