The Allstar Nation Tour is the only anti-bullying concert tour to bring together musicians from American Idol, The Voice, and X-Factor. Calhoun High School went on to compete in Hollywood, making it through to the Top 8 Boys group before being eliminated. Scotty McCreery ultimately won the competition. It’s a major factor in teen suicide and school shootings. In fact, suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people, resulting in about 4,400 deaths per year, according to the CDC. Nearly 70 percent of students think schools respond poorly to bullying. The Houston-based Allstar Nation Tour has exploded in popularity having attracted top performers from around the country. The concert tour has visited about 100 schools in Michigan, Texas, Wisconsin, and Florida since August 2014 performing for more than 75,000 students and faculty.
